Beat The Heat!
Help Us Fight Summer Heat Risks
Extreme Heat Can Be Just as Deadly as the Cold
Help us protect those most at risk this summer!
Every summer, hundreds of people experiencing homelessness face dangerous conditions due to extreme heat. Without access to shade, hydration, or cooling supplies, they are at high risk for heat exhaustion, dehydration, and even heat stroke.
That’s why we’re launching our Beat The Heat campaign—to spread awareness of heat-related illnesses and to gather summer essentials that can help save lives.

Learn the Signs of Heat-Related Illness:
Heat Exhaustion: Sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea, cold/clammy skin
Heat Stroke: Hot/dry skin, confusion, rapid pulse, high body temperature
Dehydration: Dark urine, dry mouth, fatigue, lightheadedness
Sunburn & Heat Rash: Painful skin, itching, redness, bumps

📣 Spread the Word!
Help us raise awareness by sharing this campaign, donating supplies, or encouraging others to get involved. As our seasons grow more extreme year after year, so does the urgency of our mission. We’re excited to take action and work alongside our community and other programs to keep people healthy, safe, and seen.
